THE SLEEPERS - ACCIDENTAL
HG: "My second Pro Tools recording adventure, this project owes a lot to the skill and generosity of Rick Pomfret: master guitarist, recording engineer, and friend. Rick patiently helped me through much of this record and if it sounds good, that is mostly Rick’s doing (the parts that sound bad were probably recorded without Rick). I learned a lot. The musical influences and styles are varied, but two of the most popular tracks -- "Giants" and "Alief" -- are about Texas, and Texans, and feel a little bit like Texas. While my personal life was still somewhat dark during the writing and recording, there’s also a spirit of hope and gratitude coursing through this album's veins. I was aware, at least, that I had to power to improve my life."
